why SAS Transportation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is awesome

Are you looking for a reliable shared ride, ground transportation shuttle service to take you from the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport to the Port of Miami cruise terminal? If so, then look no further than SAS Transportation and Steven Sadowsky at http://www.ridesas.com/ or 954-600-0240.

I recently reserved 2 seats on a SAS Transportation shuttle from the FLL Airport to a departing cruise at the Port of Miami. My flight into FLL, on an airline which shall remain unnamed, was delayed at take-off for over 2-1/2 hours with mechanical problems. The generous time cushion which I programmed into the connection between FLL airport and the Port of Miami quickly evaporated.

I kept Steven informed about each flight delay, and he assured me that a shuttle would be waiting at the airport at baggage claim, and we would make our connection onto the cruise ship.

My luggage did not emerge from the baggage carousel until 45 minutes before the cruise ship was ready to depart, but Steven was true to his word, and a shuttle was immediately waiting in the baggage area to whisk us to the Port of Miami without delay.

Thanks to the knowledgeable SAS driver who knew the most direct way to get us to the cruise terminal, the I-95 Express Lanes, and the wonderful Carnival cruise line gate representatives who called us to inquire our ETA to the terminal, we were able to get to the cruise ship in the nick of time.

I highly recommend SAS Transportation and would book shuttle service with them again without hesitation. You can read other positive reviews of SAS Transportation here at the following links:

We were left stranded at the Ft. Lauderdale airport by SAS Transportation.

I booked this in advance for transportation from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Port of Miami. Once I arrived at the airport I called the gentleman that called me initially about my ride and he informed me to call the main number. I missed my initial flight but was assured transportation would still be available once I arrived in Ft. Lauderdale airport.

I called and spoke with Steve. He told me there were no more shuttles available because they were doing an event in South Beach. We were left stranded in the airport with no way to get to our cruise by 3:30pm (it was 2:00pm).

I have NEVER had such terrible service. To leave people with a reservation stranded without a way to get to their destination is HORRIBLE customer service. I choose this service based on the reviews online but I was mistaken. In the end the cruise line had transportation available and one bus left to get to the cruise. I will never use this service again.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience with SAS Transportation. I should add to my post, that I kept Steven informed of each flight delay, by calling him directly at their main number, 954-600-0240. Did you call the main number immediately upon missing your initial flight? Your experience seemed very out of character for SAS Transportation, so I contacted Steven myself to hear his side of the situation, which is quoted below:

As to that post I was notified of that earlier this month as it showed up on cruise critic from a new poster that had never posted anything at all on cruise critic except this matter.

The key to this post is that the person is stating that he called the number of my driver who left a message on his phone when the flight that he was supposed to be on had arrived.

He also states that he missed his initial flight but, after fully reviewing everything about this, I was never notified at all that he missed the flight and was arriving on a different flight and a later time.

He arrived I believe like 4 hours later and at that time I did not have any vans at the FLL Airport and we did have an event we were hired for that afternoon/evening.

Without knowing he missed his flight I have no idea or knowledge that he would be showing up later or I would definitely had a van waiting for him.

You can plainly see in his post that he does not mention that he notified myself of the change of flight arrival information but only that he called my driver who was assigned to pick him up at the time of the arriving flight that he had submitted to us.

We tried to contact him for his pick up based on the information he provided to us.

Without proper information of a change in their arrival nobody would know when someone is arriving.

I am always there for my passengers and never leave anyone and always go out of my way for my passengers no matter what.
